ON EXHIBIT MAY 28 - JULY 23, 2026 | SANTIAGO
ArtLabbé Santa Barbara is proud to announce the grand opening of Liberté 2026, its annual international neurodivergent art and poetry contest and exhibition. Designed to celebrate the exceptional creative talents of individuals with intellectual disabilities, this year’s exhibition centers around the powerful and moving theme, "I Have A Dream".
The exhibition officially launches with an Opening Night reception on May 28th, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, bringing together over 300 local community leaders, philanthropists, professional artists, and special needs families. A formal Award Ceremony will follow on June 10th, where top winners across three age categories (under 18, 18–59, and 60+) and poetry will be honored with $250 prizes. The community catering for the award party will be graciously provided by Kyle’s Kitchen.
This year's Santa Barbara exhibit features an extraordinary collection of 105 unique artworks and 6 original poems submitted by regional artists ranging in age from 13 to 84 years old. Reflecting ArtLabbé's truly global footprint, submissions were drawn from local classrooms and specialized organizations—such as the Grace Fisher Foundation, Hillside House, Alpha Resource Center, and Devereux California. ArtLabbé operates across three global branches, and sister exhibitions are being hosted at its galleries in Santiago, Chile and Coral Gables, Florida.
